Greg Pinkalla

Greg Pinkalla is a highly experienced real estate executive with a long track record in multifamily investment, development, and operational leadership. He joined Fairfield in 1994 to establish its acquisition and redevelopment platform, building a business that has acquired more than 620 properties totaling over 163,500 apartment homes and representing more than $21.5 billion in investments.

Greg previously served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fairfield from 2017 to 2022, where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s development, acquisition, construction, property management, and investment management operations. Under his leadership, Fairfield expanded its national platform and strengthened its position as a leading multifamily investment and development firm. He now continues to serve as an advisor to the Board.

Earlier in his career, Greg held roles at Prudential Insurance Company, Merrill Lynch, and Citibank before becoming a founding partner of Post Oak Partners, a national real estate finance company, where he spent a decade.

Greg holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Northwestern University.

As part of Triten’s Advisory Board, Greg brings strategic insight shaped by decades of experience across multifamily investment, operations, and leadership, supporting the firm’s ability to evaluate opportunities and execute with discipline.
