Leslie Ortiz is a Property Accountant at Triten Real Estate Partners, bringing over a decade of experience in commercial real estate accounting and fund management. Her career in the industry began early as a high school intern at Hines, where she continued working through college before transitioning into a full-time role supporting the firm’s international investment management team.

During her time at Hines, Leslie worked across multiple areas of the accounting and finance platform, including property accounting, treasury, and fund management. She later joined the firm’s private wealth platform, where she supported multi-million-dollar real estate investment offerings, managed capital pipelines, and contributed to capital raise initiatives.

Leslie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and also completed a Certificate in Global Management. Her interest in global business led her to spend time living in South Korea, where she taught English and gained valuable skills in adaptability, problem-solving, and communication in new environments.

Known for her analytical mindset and curiosity, Leslie enjoys the investigative nature of accounting. Approaching financial reporting like solving a puzzle to uncover the story behind the numbers. She considers herself a lifelong learner and is always looking for ways to expand her skill set.

Outside of work, Leslie enjoys baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She also volunteers with the Houston ToolBank and is currently focused on learning woodworking as her newest creative pursuit.
